Bulletin No. 6
After meeting on 10 August to drive the campaign forward, we lauched a successful leafleting campaign at the Rotherhithe Millennium Festival on 20 August. Offers of help to leaflet Bermondsey, Canada Water, Rotherhithe, and Surrey Quays Underground stations and local pubs would be welcome (E-mail to canada_water_campaign@hotmail.com).
We have also written to every Southwark Councillor so they can understand the concerns of the Campaign about the Council Officers' proposals. Our letter can be seen here.
Time and Talents have kindly offered to provide some facilitiies, so the Campaign now has a snail mail address:
